My baby step towards a better India

Well u can call it coincidence or a sheer sense of getting awed by RDB!! Watever it may be!! I am not gonna go ga ga over the movie. Infact I am at short of words to describe what I felt after watching the movie.
On the close heels after watching the movie I happened to take the bus enroute to Chennai from Bangalore. As routinely as buses ply this one was delayed by half an hour. Typically I got a firangi as my co-passenger. Soon he learnt that he was gonna be seated on a pushback chair while having paid for a sleeper. He got into a tussle with the bus authority and as cliche as ever he got no response from that guy. This went on for some time and the guy got restless. He informed me of the same and said " All Indians are like this". Those words I guess hurt me and in a typical fashion I reacted comforting him on how I cud help him. I told him soon u will deem to take back ur words.
The very moment I got up from my seat and landed a blow of words to the authorities. I told them about their mistake, when I too recieved a response like "How does it concern u??" I barraged into an argument. I almost got into physical until some of my co passengers roughed up the authorities. I let them know of the situation and we got them to arrange convenience for the firangi. He thanked me and went on a slumber.
Not a second more than this got over three other people got on who had paid a sum and were assured a pushback. The authority showed them the seat next to the driver and they were dumbstruck. Another heated argument and this time they were excusing themselves of not paying back the money while the three of them decided to disengage. I got back into action with my set of people and protested against this nonsense. We yet again gagged them up and had them refund the monies. We hit the road an hour and half late than planned.
As I got back to my seat I sighed a sense of relief and responsibility. In India people need to learn to be intolerant against such gimmicks. We need to build a better life for people around us and ourselves. I think I have taken the first baby step towards a better India.
