My baby step towards a better India

Well u can call it coincidence or a sheer sense of getting awed by RDB!! Watever it may be!! I am not gonna go ga ga over the movie. Infact I am at short of words to describe what I felt after watching the movie.
On the close heels after watching the movie I happened to take the bus enroute to Chennai from Bangalore. As routinely as buses ply this one was delayed by half an hour. Typically I got a firangi as my co-passenger. Soon he learnt that he was gonna be seated on a pushback chair while having paid for a sleeper. He got into a tussle with the bus authority and as cliche as ever he got no response from that guy. This went on for some time and the guy got restless. He informed me of the same and said " All Indians are like this". Those words I guess hurt me and in a typical fashion I reacted comforting him on how I cud help him. I told him soon u will deem to take back ur words.
The very moment I got up from my seat and landed a blow of words to the authorities. I told them about their mistake, when I too recieved a response like "How does it concern u??" I barraged into an argument. I almost got into physical until some of my co passengers roughed up the authorities. I let them know of the situation and we got them to arrange convenience for the firangi. He thanked me and went on a slumber.
Not a second more than this got over three other people got on who had paid a sum and were assured a pushback. The authority showed them the seat next to the driver and they were dumbstruck. Another heated argument and this time they were excusing themselves of not paying back the money while the three of them decided to disengage. I got back into action with my set of people and protested against this nonsense. We yet again gagged them up and had them refund the monies. We hit the road an hour and half late than planned.
As I got back to my seat I sighed a sense of relief and responsibility. In India people need to learn to be intolerant against such gimmicks. We need to build a better life for people around us and ourselves. I think I have taken the first baby step towards a better India.

INDIVIDUALITY-deserves the highest place

I heard it from close frenz and families that we love our fellow people. Sounds nice and warming. Most of the times families tend to act as a source of support and close ties. I havent had the slightest idea why at times they tend to get over protective and reason theories that has no logic. Individuality is the key word that loses the very essence when decisions of life come across. Pressures and redundant motives tend to make it directionless and most times the cause of anxiety. Face it with career choices, marriages, decisions on kids and so and so forth. Particularly prehistoric thinking and superstitions make them blindfolded. Hardly do they realise that such is the pressure on the individual that for him/her to take decisions where choices are hardly a few that between respect for their views and place for their ambitions take a toll.
In all true respect the cliche dilemma and slogan is WE CARE and we know whats good for u. It makes my head a little dizzy and painful.
Hardly does one realise that true care and understanding comes with the sense of support of individuality and its choices. Many tend to forget that respect never comes by force but in all sense comes with guidance and support to let the individual make a choice. The choice to choose a career, a partner and overall the way he/she dreams about life.
So before you say U CARE and U know EVERYTHING remember that INDIVIDUALITY deserves more priority than a what viewpoint you have.

I wish I had answers
To the thoughts that my prevailed my mind

I asked myself a simple question
Why was I surrounded by
So much kindness
So much love
So much care

So many people
So many friends
So many memories

For my answers
I gazed outside my window
and watched the surroundings

I watched many people
As they walked across my sight
I wondered at each of them
How many were like me

Were their lives similar
To what I have
To what I own
To what I cherish

Life was moving
They were at work

Watchful were ...
Their words
Their actions
Their demands

How many of them had someone
or something to care about

I wondered if they were searching for something
Something that bereaved them

I crystal gazed at my future
Flooded were my thoughts
Would I turn the same?
Would life be this way?

I groped into darkness

Thats when amongst the dark
I found a shining gem
I moved towards it
I treaded uncaring

Answers came
That this is what i found..

I embraced this gem
I closed my hands
And held it tight under my fists

I would never let it go
Never let it fall
Never lose it

My gem signified
My people
My friends
My memories..

Confused!!!!!

Dont know!! Why I make promises.. when i know its hard to keep them up.. They just transcend away with time and usually disappoint everyone.. When I am out to make people happy and myself the same I keep hopes that I shall meet my promises this time. But again and again they turn futile on me.

I feel sometimes work takes toll on u not least with the amount and kind of it but with a change in place. For some reason it takes away from u the joy of having people around u love the most.

In this case.. as my grp wud understand it.. I yet again dive into the unknown.. for time will tell if I am gonna be around in one place or not.

Crazy lil thing makes me confused.. which is to be happy or not.. the last time I left hometown it was only similar.. leaving back ppl i am so used to..and finding ppl around here(bangalore) whom i was so used to.. made them promises..but the tide turned against me.. yet again.. dont know how i can console myself or them.. happy for ppl back there.. sad to leave the ppl here..

I dont know whether to make promises yet again.. promises to ppl in hometown tht i am there forever.. promises to ppl here that i shall be back someday..

All i can say is its difficult for my ppl more than me.. i can only suffice myself with the fact that atleast I have someone around.. Ideally, I claim to wish that this ordeal gets over soon.. and all of us are together..
Grumble!! Grumble!! is all I can do till then.. wait for time to see if it ever will come true..

Thanks for bearing me, all of u!!
